Mike Jacobs, a Fellow and Past President of the National Association of Toastmasters, is experienced in all aspects of Jewish functions. He is well known to the top kosher caterers, and a familiar face at the most prestigious venues, both in the West End and North London. He has also officiated at numerous celebrations either ‘at home’ or in a marquee and is available at any venue in the UK or overseas. Having taken comprehensive instructions from you before the event to ensure that everything happens exactly as you would wish, he will take responsibility on the day for all of the arrangements and liaison with the catering staff, photographers, musicians, etc., leaving you completely stress-free to enjoy the occasion every bit as much as your guests. He is also available beforehand to advise on any aspects of the simcha.

Bar Mitzvahs, Bat-Mitzvahs/Bat-Chayils

There’s something really special about a barmitzvah, bat-mitzvah or bat-chayil. Whilst there’s an element of formality, the overwhelming requirement is for it to be fun! A professional toastmaster is probably the most important ingredient in maintaining that balance – sufficient formality for the parents and grandparents – and sufficient fun for the kids!

Charity Events

A professional toastmaster is a must for a successful charity event. Apart from ensuring that the evening runs smoothly, his expertise will be at your disposal as a compère for auctions, raffles or other fund-raising activities and he will ensure that the maximum revenue is raised for the charity. Mike Jacobs will always be happy to offer preferential rates for Jewish charities.
